We've been to Uncle D's about half a dozen times since they moved to old town Battle Ground. We'd been hoping for a good pizza place to materialize - and it finally did! They have a simple menu, which makes things easy, and the food has been awesome every time. Their salads are fresh ad crisp, the pizzas are well-made with very nice toppings, and they will prepare them to your preferred level of 'doneness.' It's a family-run business, and everyone who works there looks like they're related to everyone else who works there, which is actually kind of fun. They are very gracious and polite, and they will do their very best to make things right if there's a problem. The interior is spacious, relaxed, and CLEAN! I'm heading there for lunch in a little while. Our new favorite place!

The quality is really great for battle ground. It stands head and shoulders... and torso... above the other dine-in pizza place in BG, Rocky's, which is atrocious if you're even remotely into food flavor, texture, quality, etc. They have an array of standard pizzas plus a few unusual combinations. My favorite is The Uncle, get it every time. I think it has a mango glaze. The place is run by a band of platinum-haired Aryan highschool children -- it is obvious that they are actually clones as they all look fairly identical, which is fine. Adds to the ambiance. Cool rustic vibe, loving the old wooden water barrels and outdoor fireplaces plus the ancient Model T parked out front. I deducted a star because the pizzas only come in one size, something resembling a medium, and my husband and I end up having to order 2 pizzas to avoid bickering over who gets the last slices.

We went to Uncle D's for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious and the crust was perfect. We ordered medium crust and it had just the perfect amount of char. The pizza was delivered to our table quickly and was very reasonably priced. Plus they have some wonderful, unusual pizzas. Can't wait to go back and try more. The interior of the restaurant is very nice. You can tell they really put in a lot of extra touches and they also have a wonderful outdoor seating area. Here's wishing Uncle D's great success. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. They deserve it!

Really great tasting pizza... But way too pricey for how much you actually get, and the service is always very strange/awkward. Also, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a gluten allergy, because they'll charge you $4 extra for gluten free crust. Little bit crazy!

The best pizza ever!!! Love the family atmosphere too! Everyone that works here is super friendly and makes you feel at home. The owner even came to our table to ask how our food was and if we needed anything else! When I asked her about the tables she told me her husband made them! She also told me he made the stoves and lighting fixtures as well! There's more parts of the restaurant that he crafted -- but you'll have to go in to see it all yourself!! It's definitely worth it to see the beauty in his work and to eat their delicious and unique pizza!!

A must try for this new establishment in BG. The pizza is unique and very delicious. Came here for lunch on a weekday so it wasn't busy and was served quickly. When you walk in you order at the counter, take your number, and take any open seating. They will bring you your meal. Very friendly service and was able to take my time looking through their choices with no rush. Interior was very fancy and had nice decor. Everything looks brand new and nicely put out. There's a station in the center where you can get your plates, utensils, pizza boxes for leftovers, drinks, and washing your hands. Ordered the Garden Salad ($8) and regular size pizza, The Uncle($14). Garden salad came in a big white bowl with spinach, lettuce, croutons, carrots, veggies, and couple cups of ranch. It was good but wasn't too impressed for the price paid for a bowl of simple greens. The pizza satisfied my taste buds. There is a generous amount of toppings and flavor on the pizza. You are able to request the amount of cook you want on it and the size (personal or regular). Very thin crust and was good to share for two people. I liked all the toppings on it from the protein, veggies, and spices. There was also a sweet taste in there like cinnamon but was most likely the sweet chili sauce. A great deal would be to go for lunch from 1p-4p for their $6 Personal Classic Pizza special. If you go here I recommend trying any of their pizzas. Yes, the price is a little steep in my opinion but you are paying for the quality. You can pay cheaper prices for those big chain pizzas, but you won't get the same experience which Uncle D provides. Overall, a very nice pizza joint with fabulous food and extraordinary service.

We visited Uncle D's when they were at their old location and once since they moved. They use to include tax in their pricing as well as offer a $1 soda, they now do neither. The prices were a bit high, but the novelty of including the tax brought us back. I would say they would be worth a stop by, simply to enjoy the new accommodations, but don't be expecting to be wowed by their product. I doubt we will be back.

We had driven by Uncle D's on the way to another restaurant a few days previously. It looked interesting and we wanted to try it out. A few days later we did just that. We showed up just before 4:00 and discovered they run a lunch special during the week. If you order a pizza before that time, you receive a small drink. We made the deadline. The wood fired pizzas are good but not out of this world. The crust was crusty and just like we like it. However, the pizzas are rather small. You can order a regular personal size pizza which is only 8" or you can order the only other size which is 12". It's about the size of a medium pizza every place else. Regular pizzas are $12 and specialty pizzas are $14. The building is nice. You can eat inside or outside. The place is huge and we were the only ones there. Thus, pizza was super fast. Staff wasn't particularly friendly. I'm not sure we'd return or not return. There was not spectacular to bring us back.
